Pithi: A pithi ceremony is a joyful, playful and fun occasion in which family members and friends bless the couple with well wishes. They rub the yellow turmeric paste onto the bride and/or groom's arms, neck, face, hands and legs.
Garba: Garba in the Gujarati culture is a dance style celebrated during Navraatri, and is fun evening on the first night of the wedding celebrating the union of the two families. Everyone dresses in Indian clothes and has a great time enjoying dinner, drinking, mingling and dancing to traditional Gujarati music.
Wedding: The wedding day begins with the groom’s procession, which is called the Baraat. The groom makes his way to the wedding altar in a party, with a DJ, and led by his entire family and friends. This is followed by entrances by the bridal party and the wedding ceremony. Our wedding ceremony will be a unique blend of Bhakta culture, Hindu culture, and American culture.
Reception: An Indian wedding reception is a fun party that includes music, dancing, singing, speeches, and a banquet. Some other things to expect at an Indian wedding reception include performances, food, and alcohol.
